PLANTS We grow a full range
of sizes and varieties of shade trees, ornamental trees, broadleaf evergreens, and shrubs of all types. We have a huge selection
- from Azaleas and Beautyberries to Yaupon hollies and Zelkovas. Our perennial selection is somewhat limited
but full of the choice varieties as well as some unusuals. Our containerzed plants range from
- 1 gallon to 40 gallon container
- 4 feet to 16 feet tall evergreens, balled and burlapped in
wire baskets
- 1- to 5-inch caliper
ornamental and shade trees, balled and burlapped in wire baskets
(Caliper is the diameter of the trunk measured 6 inches
above the ground.)
We
have over 75 acres of plants.
As we move out of the smaller container plant growing, we will still be able to provide them for you. If you have a list of
plants, we will fulfill your order with what we have and then locate the remainder from local growers. We have done this for
our wholesale customers for years. It usually takes about one week to get all together.

LANDSCAPE CONSULTATION We offer residential
and commercial landscaping consultations. John Dunleavy, President and Owner, has been providing these services for over 30
years. For a fee, he will come to your site and help you plan your design. He, and others on our staff, will help you for
free if you come to the nursery, bring pictures, measurements, and other materials that may be helpful in determining what
your site may need and what you like. You can see the plants we are talking about and decide if you like them or not. If you
already have a design drawn by someone else, bring it to the nursery, and we will show you the plants listed on your plan
and help you make substitutes if you don't like what was specified.
THE LEAFLET™ We create and publish
in-house a seasonal gardening publication that has been winning accolades since 1994. It is filled with useful information
about plants and ornamental landscaping as well as fun and fanciful facts and inspirational words. The Kid's Kolumn includes
a thematic word search. Current issues are free at the nursery and for those signing up to be on our mailng list. You must
come to the nursery to add your name to the list. Past issues (there are over 35 of them) are available for sale for only
25 cents each. Below
are links to PDFs of two Leaflets.

ADVANTAGE TREES™ A
special feature at our nursery for the homeowner (and landscaper alike) is our Advantage Tree™ program. We harvest some
of our trees and shrubs in sizes that are more manageable for the do-it-yourself homeowner - an Advantage you cannot find
in any garden center. These balled and burlapped plants have heads and trunks that exceed those found on container stock at
similar heights. We use root balls that are a healthy size for transplant, yet as light as possible for ease of movement.
Most importantly, these Advantage Trees™ are economical, being priced so you get more for your money in size and health
of the plants. Some varieties available: Oaks, maples,
hollies, magnolias, birches, crapemyrtles, zelkovas, elms, and hollies. 18-inch rootball sizes are $69 retail and weigh about
80 pounds. 20-inch rootball sizes are $99 retail and weigh about 120 pounds.

SPECIALS We have special pricing
on various plants throughout the year. Watch this site for those deals. Also, come to the nursery for unannounced specials. Go to our Sales and Specials page for details.
MULCHES AND AMENDMENTS We have pine bark mulch (shredded and
nuggets) for sale in bulk (you pick up or we deliver). We recommend bark mulch over pine straw since it lasts longer,
looks better longer, and decomposes, creating a richer soil. The slightly higher cost is far outweighed by the longevity. HINT: 1 yard spread 2" deep covers 160 square feet. 1 yard spread 3"
deep covers 120 square feet. 1 yard spread 4" deep covers 80 square feet. A full size pickup, level load, is about 2 yards. Our truck carries about
12 yards. We do have a delivery charge.
We also have
soil conditioner bagged and in bulk. This composted, pulverized pine bark is good for
incorporating into the soil when planting. It's also good for mulching annual and perennial beds.
TEA &TALKSM MEETINGS & LIBRARY We welcome garden clubs and any other organizations who would like to have a meeting at our
nursery. We will provide an instructional talk for 20-30 minutes on a topic of your choice or ours. And participants are invited
to take a tour of the nursery. Call Pat for more details or contact at info@pinebushnursery.com. We also have an extensive gardening library that anyone is welcome to use on premises.
GIFT CERTIFICATES We have gift certificates.
You can use them for plants, gift shop items, and landscape consultations (those that we charge for). Gift certificates are
particularly appropriate for plants since you may want to give a plant at a time that's unsuitable for the recipient to
plant. With a certificate, your loved one can come to the nursery when she/he is ready to plant and can pick out just what
will suit her tastes, location, landscape, etc.
